Well, school is kicking my butt harder than before now that I'm taking Pixar class. The class is friggin intense, but nevertheless I honestly feel like I learned a whole lot more in this class than all the classes I've taken in the past two years combined. It's pretty sad to know how crappy our 3D animation department really is and I feel bad for the students who couldn't get into Pixar class.... hopefully one day, Pixar class will be able to accept more students so more ppl will get a chance to experience this awesome opportunity.
Ok enough ranting, I've been wanting to put this bday card up for a long time, but never quite got the time to think about it. This was for Irvin:
It's a picture key(ed?) on his dream car Infiniti G37 Coupe. A gift from the G37 God himself. I was merely his messanger who passed on this Holy symbol to Irvin's future car. Here was Irvin's response to the design upon hearing the request to key it onto the car as soon as he buys it.
"You are the one person I would ALMOST let key my car to have that graphic on"
Of course, since I know him like a brother, I am pretty confident that what he really meant was:
"Though I really really want this graphic to be keyed onto my car, but I'm shy and I don't want to ask you straight-out. However, if you are willing, I would be more than happy to let you do it right away."
It's okay Irvin, I totally understand. I won't let you down.
In case you don't understand what the design is (Irvin got it right away), it's a human face combined with parts from G37 Coupe....you can figure out the rest.
On a side note:
For those of you who are
1. Bored outta your mind.
2. Interested in sim-city or age of empire type games, BUT don't want to devote too much time into playing them.
Here is a web-based game that I recommend: http://www.ikariam.org
Overall, it's a very casual game for very casual gamer. No installation required, just create player name and password...and you're in. You can play it anywhere as long as you have access to internet. (Guess what I was doing in class...) Unlike many other web-based games, this one actually let you visually see your city grow from a simple village to an empire. On top of that, you have to work together with other players in order to expand since each island has various limited resources. It's more of a cooperative effort than simply gather an army and conquer each other.
Anyway, I just started 3 days ago and I enjoy the slow-pace casual gaming experience this has to offer me. It helps when I have to deal with 3 hours classes with no break in between. *cough* pixar class *cough*
If you ever decide to play this game, please play in World Zeta, and look for me on the island of Polieos. (coordinate 66:54) City name: Eternia
